Coffee Break Christmas 2013

This blog entry will share with you what happened during the Coffee Break Christmas gathering.

Annet and Bea (and others) spent some time setting up the fellowship hall to receive their guests.

The two scenes by the windows are going to be part of a short drama later on.

 Gifts adorn the tables.

People start to arrive at 9:30 am.

There will be different activities to do during the morning.  This is the card making table.

People slowly gather together.

As usual, a nice spread of foods and beverages.

After some social time, it's time for the short drama.
 Annet gets things started.

Jessica portrayed a frazzled and haggard mom who was trying to make sense of the busyness
 of the Christmas season.

Lots to get done, no time to get it done....
many a person probably feels this way.

The group now turns its attention to Jeannette.

She is the voice of reason about the Christmas season.

Take the time to focus on the reason for the season...

...not the craziness of the season.

Jeannette also handed out some gifts to those in the crowd.

Annet closed the drama out.

Then it was time for activities.

It's always nice to get together with friends from the congregation, or as groups, like Coffee Break, as the Christmas season approaches.
Thanks to all those who help to plan
 for Coffee Break each week.
