As we continue to prepare to go to Peru this Friday, others have been helping us bless those we are going to meet. The Cornwall group has been getting donations of medical supplies, and medicine to take with us, and our Coffee Break women decided to make bracelets to hand out the the women of Gamaliel church.
They spent a Wednesday morning putting things together. Here are Janine and Angela getting things ready.
The project took a couple of different phases. The beads, and some hand made cards. Here's Bea at her station. Always so crafty! : )
The ladies wasted no time getting into things. Each person took beads in a bowl and began to make bracelets.
All work and no talking would be unheard of, though!! : )
The end result. A bracelet and an explanation of what all the colours mean. Nicely done.
