At Calvin CRC we have many small groups that meet weekly, bi-weekly and monthly. They have proven to be a joy for those who participate in them.
One such group has been meeting at Calvin CRC for years now. Every other Tuesday morning I watch several women walk through the doors of Calvin carrying boxes of cloths, sewing machines, fabric, etc. They have such wonderful smiles on their faces because they are gathering together to do something they love.....making quilts.
About 6 months ago I asked this group of women if they'd be willing to make some quilts for those in Patchecutec. They agreed. The final result are what you see in the pictures.
This group loving made about 17 quilts. All of them a work of love, and all of them beautiful. Each having its own character and telling its own story.
I thank the quilting group for their labour of love. It was truly appreciated. And I KNOW they enjoyed making them.
