Final Thoughts before we leave

So, last night we held our final orientation evening before leaving this Friday for Peru. The pictures you see are of the group practicing their drama's complete with costumes. There are also two pictures of the team. One serious, the other, well, not. : ) oh, and if you are wondering why that rope is there, well, I'll just keep you wondering.

Those missing in the photo are:
Kellina G
Margaret V
Brian V

As we soon embark on this mission experience, just some closing thoughts (two final blogs on the quilts and our planning day will come tomorrow)

  1. 26 individuals slowly gelling together to make a team.
  2. The generosity of a church community that supported us.
  3. The willingness of individuals to give VBS supplies.
  4. The loving hands of the quilting group as they made the quilts for people in Patchecutec.
  5. Watching the gifts of individuals come out as we planned fundraisers, VBS, drama, etc.
  6. Seeing the faithfulness of God as he has walked with us so far.

We soon will leave. We ask that you pray for us as we go. We will be changed when we return. We'll let you know just how sometime afterwards.

Blessings, and thanks to ALL who have supported us in prayer, and financially.
