CIA Camping @ Achray in Algonquin P.P. - June Part 3

After Peter and Rosy left, we sat down to have another time of wet campfire wood fire.  Jacob is roasting marshmallows....I think some even for me.

We had a good discussion time at the fire tonight.  Talking about some events that had happened at Redeemer High school.  Interesting to hear the discussion.

I think Chris took this picture.

The adults of the group chatting together.

We all headed off to bed around midnight and then it was morning before we knew it.

Good morning son.........

Fontana making her own breakfast again.  She was separating the yoke here....I taped the process...have a look.

Fontana and Eggs....

You look wide awake son.

Rosy and Megan making a new type of breakfast this morning....Megan H,  (Note to self:  Change out of wet bathing suit BEFORE making breakfast next time).

Fontana happily cooking away.

Everyone bustling around.

Annette helping out with our new breakfast sensation.

It took a couple of times, but she eventually got the hang of it.

Ben, the first recipient of breakfast.

This new creation comes from Peru.  Erin made it for us  (see other Blog entries).  You take a piece of bread, use a cup to cut a round hole in the bread (eating the hole of course) and then drop an egg into the bread.  Frying both sides.....add some ham and cheese near the end of cooking, and you have a great breakfast.

Even Chris H got into the helping act.  Seems like it's contagious.

Dishes time with Hannah and Jacob.  Nice pose......

After dishes, we had church, and then packed up everything to head for home.  It took about 1 hour and a bunch went for a final swim in the water before helping in the clean up.  I ended up having to put the heavy canoe on to my tent trailer.....it worked eventually, but boy, was my van heavy coming home...

On the way home we stopped to do the Barron Canyon Trail.  Shorter than Saturday's, thankfully, but no less steep.

A good warning for those going on the trail.  I'll try to keep all my kids safe.  : )

The trail was steep, but thankfully short.

Another warning...this must be a dangerous place.

Beautiful views.

Hey, get back you two.....GET BACK!!!!

I see Annette decided to do the safe thing...stop and drop....NO ROLL!!!!

This is what Annette was looking down upon.....gives me the whillies just thinking about it......

Jacob, pensive once again..........Fontana too!  How can you not when looking as such beauty that God has created.

Maddi....happy Maddi.

Hey, what's that about Janine.....

Oh, I get it....you thought I was Chad...that's it.

Chris, sometimes you cause my heart to leap in fear...this is one of those times....GET BACK!

Awwwww...mom and daughter pose.

Mel, pensive as well.

Megan can't stand the view any longer......

Chris is just lovin' this.

Ben, not to be outdone....

A nice picture...even made it to a couple of YP FB profile pics......  : )

WHY is my son always so close to the edge...sheesh!

Another view I can't stand to look at....

We eventually came off the trail and back to our vehicles....well, most of us did.

Kevin and Carmella seemed to have gone A.W.O.L.  Not to be found....I sent a couple of YP scouts to go find them, which they did in good order.

Apparently Kevin popped the question on the trail, and that took a bit.  We were shocked to say the least.

Here is Kevin and Carmella sharing the news of Wedding bells with the group....our should I say the GIRLS in the group.

Group hug............

And so, another camping weekend is in the books.  Achray is definitely a place we'll return to sometime soon.  Thanks to all who came along. Once again it was fun getting to know you better, and continuing to watch you grow an mature in life and faith.  Have a GREAT summer...and see you in September, if not before.  : )
