Boys Club - Manly Cooking

Back in April, our Boys Club hosted another of its
"Manly Cooking" nights.
Always a highlight for our boys.

Here's the group gathering for instructions on what to do.

I think the menu for the evening was poutine and sausages and home made ice cream.
Here is Michael showing everyone how to cook the fries.

Everyone got to work and the boys were assigned different elements.

Those sausages look really good.  : )

Thomas got the fun job of helping get the ice cream ready.

Starting with lots of cream.

Hey, where did all the boys go?

Oh, back to making ice cream.
Cream, whipping cream, and sugar were needed as well.
Phil helped whip Thomas in shape
(sorry, couldn't resist.  : ) )

Daniel taste testing the gravy for poutine.

Thomas continues to get the ice cream ingredients ready.

Lots of stirring necessary.

Time to EAT POUTINE!
In an orderly fashion.

Enjoying the fruits, or should I say Spuds, of their labour.

Phil...you ok?  You look like you are going to fall over.

After supper it was time for some fun.
Ice cream made with liquid nitro.

As you can see, if you pour it on the ground,....

It doesn't stick around..
(Hey, that rhymes.  : ) )

So, Phil poured in the nitro and the boys took turns stirring to make things more solidified.

and more...will this ever end???

and even MORE.

Some more stirring and....

voila....ice cream.
The sausage, poutine, and ice cream were AMAZING..
or so I hear, as I did not partake in the food this time.
