Calvin Fellowship Meal

At Calvin, we like to kick off the ministry year with a fellowship dinner in September on a Sunday afternoon.  Here is yet another......

As we were setting up, it seems that a star is born.  Jodi's daughter, Alyssa, has taken over the piano and is singing into the Mic.  Priceless.

I think her sister is jealous.  : )

People begin to arrive just before 5 pm and the food gets placed on the tables.

Kathy and Christine lead us in opening song and prayer.

We had over 80 people out for the dinner.  They just kept coming and coming.....  : )

Here is Gus helping us get more tables out.

And finally, it was time to EAT!
As usual, the food was wonderful.
Great variety.  I LOVE potlucks.

Several of my eating shots......  : )

Hey, Got you again Stuart!  Yes!!

And then it was time for Dessert!
David's waiting patiently.

Jason and I planned the event, but it's Jason who gets us going with some good trivia and games.  Here he is giving answers to some very interesting questions.

All in all it was another great success.
Time for Calvin's congregation to get together and share food and get to know each other better.  All part of community.

Thanks Jason, Kathy, and Christine for your planning, and thanks to all who stayed after to help clean up.
That spiritual gift of "cleaning up" is alive and well.  : )
