Calvin Skates at Rideau Hall

For the past couple of years, Calvin has tried to get a winter evening where we could skate at Rideau Hall.  

It's done on a lottery system

 and we haven't been very successful. 

Last year we actually got an evening,

 but the weather didn't co-operate. 

This year, we didn't get the original date we wanted,

 but were able to secure a secondary date. 

With the winter we have been having,

 the ice was pretty good. 

So, on Saturday, February 15, several "Calvinites"
 made the trek to Rideau Hall and 
laced up our skates and took to the ice.

It was a wonderful evening. 

Not too cold...the lighting was good, and the music soothing.  : )
