This past Wednesday and Thursday several Calvin volunteers gathered to prepare the parking lot for pot hole repairs.

But this group was determined to fix that.
This is the biggest section we are fixing.
Oh, and Pastor Ji and Ron came out to help as well : ).
The work wasn't hard, but it sure was windy out.
Better than 46C though : )
Work continues on the large section.
Took some time to get that deep enough for the coming asphalt.
Nearing the end.
So the big parts are done.
More could be done, but this will hopefully last us for a time.

Asphalt to come today. Whoot!!
AFTER
The asphalt has arrived
We used tampers to compact the asphalt.
Now that person in the Tilly hat and blue shirt and shorts may look like me but it's really Keith D. : )
After the asphalt was done, we had to pick up all the debris from yesterday.
We didn't quite have enough asphalt for today, so we will finish it off tomorrow. Pastor Ji helped out again today too. Whoot!
